ScriptLabOS
You know which habits help and which ones drag you down. But the day still runs on autopilot, and by bedtime you can’t say what actually ran.
You are the developer of your own life.
ScriptLabOS turns your habits into scripts you can write, schedule, run and review, so each night you can see what your day was made of and change one line for tomorrow.
Boot the OSFree in your browser. No account. Your data stays on your device.
Plans stop at the plan.
Most planners stop at the plan. Most habit trackers stop at a checkmark. Neither shows you the gap between the day you planned and the day that ran, and that gap is where the old habits live.
What changes
Your habits become readable
Every habit is a .gss script: a title, the reason it exists, the steps, how long it takes (25 minutes by default) and the value it serves. File it as self-care, learning, a mindset upgrade, a bug (a habit that costs you) or a virus (a limiting belief), and bundle related scripts into packages.
Your day becomes a build you can check
Drag scripts and packages onto a 24-hour timeline. ScriptLabOS flags overlapping slots, shows your scheduled minutes and projects the day’s XP. As you run scripts, Execution Fidelity shows how many of the planned scripts actually ran.
You review before you ship
Run any script as a Pomodoro with its checklist on screen. When the timer ends, three review questions come up before the run is logged. To ship the day, you write your wins, your challenges and tomorrow’s focus.
You catch the old code when it runs
Quick Log puts a one-tap counter on each bug and virus, with tallies and days clean. Anything that hasn’t run in 21 days moves to “Archived.” Log it again and it comes back, because an honest record beats a clean one.
Your history reads like a commit log
Every run, achievement and shipped day lands in a searchable History feed with your end-of-day reflections attached. Analytics shows your last 30 days: completed sessions, daily XP, completed vs. bailed runs and a consistency score.
How it works
- Install. A short setup wizard asks for your name, your “I wake up to… so that…” statements, your top values and one to three goals, then lets you pick starter scripts from eight templates.
- Write and schedule. Edit scripts in the Library, which suggests templates that match your wake-up statements, values and goals. Then build today in the Day Builder.
- Run, review, ship. Run scripts in the Tester, answer the review prompts and ship the day. Your dashboard shows today’s build, XP, level (Junior Dev to Architect of Self) and streak.
Reading You’re the Engineer?
The book and the app both come from GOACTO and share one idea: what runs in you is code, and you can read it before you change it. The book’s 13 chapter workspaces help you read the code you inherited. ScriptLabOS is where you write the scripts you want running tomorrow, and check what actually ran.
